Tulip Garden:

The Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, formerly known as the Model Floriculture Center, is a stunning tulip garden located in Srinagar. Recognized as the largest tulip garden in Asia, it spans approximately 30 hectares and is situated at the foothills of the Zabarwan Range, offering breathtaking views of Dal Lake.

Opened in 2007, the garden was developed to promote floriculture and enhance tourism in the Kashmir Valley. Designed on a sloping terrain, the garden features a terraced layout consisting of seven distinct levels, creating a visually captivating display of vibrant colors and floral diversity.

In addition to the iconic tulips, the garden is home to a variety of other flowering plants, including hyacinths, daffodils, and ranunculus, which contribute to its overall beauty and appeal. 

An annual highlight of the garden is the Tulip Festival, which celebrates the arrival of spring and showcases the diverse array of flowers in bloom. This festival, organized by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, draws visitors from far and wide, making it an essential part of the region's tourism efforts.

The Tulip Garden not only enhances the natural beauty of Srinagar but also serves as a vibrant symbol of Kashmir's floral heritage, making it a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists alike.

तुलिप गार्डन:

इंदिरा गांधी स्मारक तुलिप गार्डन, जिसे पहले मॉडल फ्लोरीकल्चर सेंटर के नाम से जाना जाता था, श्रीनगर में स्थित है। यह एशिया का सबसे बड़ा तुलिप गार्डन है, जो लगभग 30 हेक्टेयर में फैला हुआ है। यह ज़बरवान रेंज की तलहटी में स्थित है और डल झील का दृश्य प्रस्तुत करता है।

2007 में खोला गया, इस बाग़ का उद्देश्य कश्मीर घाटी में फ्लोरीकल्चर और पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देना था। यह एक ढलान वाली भूमि पर निर्मित है, जिसमें सात स्तरों का बाग़ शामिल है। तुलिप के अलावा, इसमें हायसिन्थ, डैफोडिल और रैनुंकुलस जैसी कई अन्य प्रजातियों के फूल भी शामिल किए गए हैं।

तुलिप महोत्सव एक वार्षिक उत्सव है जो बाग़ में फूलों की विविधता को प्रदर्शित करने के लिए आयोजित किया जाता है, जो कश्मीर घाटी में वसंत ऋतु की शुरुआत के दौरान मनाया जाता है।
