Baba Dansar:-

Baba Dhansar is a holy place in Reasi district of Jammu. This place is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is linked spiritually with Shri Amarnath cave where Lord Shiva recited the tale of immorality to Goddess Parvati. 

It is said that thousands of years ago, there lived a demon near Karrura lake, he used to threaten people. Famous saint of that time Baba Dhansar Prayed to Lord Shiva and Lord helped the Saint to fight the demon. Famous Festival-Shiv-ratri is celebrated with fan and fare here and is worth a visit.

बाबा धंसार जम्मू के रियासी जिले में स्थित एक पवित्र स्थल है। यह पवित्र स्थान भगवान शिव को समर्पित है और श्री अमरनाथ गुफा से आध्यात्मिक रूप से जुड़ा हुआ है, जहाँ भगवान शिव ने देवी पार्वती को अमरता की गाथा सुनाई थी।

स्थानीय किंवदंतियों के अनुसार, हजारों साल पहले, कड़ूरा झील के पास एक भयानक राक्षस निवास करता था, जो स्थानीय लोगों को आतंकित करता था। उस समय के प्रसिद्ध संत बाबा धंसार ने भगवान शिव से सहायता की प्रार्थना की। संत की प्रार्थनाओं के उत्तर में भगवान शिव हस्तक्षेप किया किया और संत को राक्षस से लड़ने की शक्ति दी, जिससे राक्षस की हार हुई।
